Day 70, Wednesday, March 7, 2007

56 this morning (keeps getting warmer)

We are packing up to move on.

Brother Tim sent me a picture message this morning showing about 2" of new snow. We must be nuts to be heading East.

Going south to Patagonia Lake State Park. We will visit Nogales and then start heading East - working our way back home.

We made it - to Patagonia Lake. 85 by the time we arrived. That's hot! Park is full so we are in a "dry camping" area (no water or electric hook-ups). It's ok here but nothing special. Probably will move on in the morning.

Next stop, Las Cruces, NM to see Sue Cobb. She recently moved there and has been in contact with Ellen so we are going to "stop in" on our way East.

We are out here with no cell phone service without aid. But with my Wilson Trucker Antenna and signal amplifier we are getting 3 bars of "high speed broadband internet access" with my cell phone. Technology is great!

Still love the comments! Don't stop now.

Yes, you guys should stay in the warm and sun! It's still too cold here. It is supposed to be in the 40s & 50s coming up this weekend & next week, but we could still get snow too. You know this Indiana weather! Continue to have fun on your travels! Love, Mandy

I just want you to know I have shared your commentary, and pictures with several staff members here at St. Thomas. It makes them feel better (for a few minutes)to see the beautiful "warm" pictures. We have snow drifts in our back yard that are still 4ft. deep. Love, Sister Beth

Brother, Please tell Sue that I said hello. I didn't know that she moved out there. I'm sure it's horse related. She always wanted to move west. Enjoy your time in the warm sun while you can. " I Love Ya Man".
p.s. How ya doin' Ellen? Survive the trip in one piece?
