40 this morning in Mercedes.

We stayed here last night and just signed up for tonight. The weather just gets worse north of here. Freezing rain is the forecast just up the highway going towards Laredo - our next stop. So we'll stay here one more day and head north tomorrow mid-day, freezing temps are to end after tonight.

Looking at the 10 day forecast there is not much to look forward to. But, no snow!
