Day 44, Friday, Feburary 9, 2007
40 this morning at Alamo Lake – pretty cold considering the near 80 daytime temperatures.
There is something special or magical about being out here in the desert 35 miles from the nearest town. We are staying two more nights.
Back side of Alamo Dam. We walked an abandoned road to the top of the dam then hiked a dirt trail down to where the stream resumes after being released from the dam
Biker "Babe" stopped by our campsite to havabrewski
