44 this morning in Lake Havasu
About all we have to report on is the weather. The first 4 weeks it was complaints, and now it's compliments. After the early morning rain, it cleared up to bright blue sky and warm sunshine. You can't sit in the shade here, the air is too cold; but in the sun it's HOT!
This park we are in is not just an RV park, it's a RESORT. Rental sites are currently available ( we are on one now) but the park owners are trying to sell them all. People buy these 36' wide lots and park their (mostly) class A motorhomes. They landscape, have big grills, patio furniture, fireplaces, hot tubs, and most build small buildings for things such as washer & dryer, extra refridgeration, ice machines, garage for car, and just plain storage. All have to conform to the same style and color of buildings so it's all very well done and looks great. I took some pictures to give you an idea how these RV'ers live.
This resort has a fitness center so we both worked out again today, sat in the sun to read, walked the girls, I did some R&M on the motorhome and Ellen went into town. About 5:30 we took glasses of wine and went to the pool area to play 9 holes of minature golf. Sun setting over the mountains behind the lake to the West, full moon rising over mountains on the East ( all with a perfectly clear deep blue sky). Simply beautiful!
