Day 41, Tuesday, Feburary 6, 2007

48 this morning in Lake Havasu

There is an island in Lake Havasu. It used to be a peninsula with the City airport on it. But when the London Bridge was relocated here they dredged out the spit of land connecting the "soon to be island" with the mainland and re-connected it with the London Bridge after the island was formed. Now the island is an upscale area with RV Resorts and new single family housing. Nice new airport is now out by the RV park we are in.

No big deal, but the island now has a walking path all around the 3.8 mile circumference. We walked the island today and the dogs got a swim in the Colorado River to boot.

Back to Blue Boy to enjoy the afternoon.

Off to Yuma, Az tomorrow morning.
