50 this morning in Fountain Hills
I used the name of Fountain Hills because that is the name of the town just outside of the park. It's all new! Homes, malls, roads, businesses - everything is new and its all out in the middle of the dessert east of Scottsdale. Very nice and probably very expensive real estate.
Just enjoyed the temperature of 74 today. Met Darren at West World late this afternoon. He's at a rodeo/horse show working to sell horse trailers. We got a tour of the show and all the displays. All I can say is that people sure spend a lot of money on horses!
Went to dinner for Sushi (excellent meal) then home. However, five miles from the park we ran into a road block. Accident up ahead with a fatality had both roads into the park closed. We were stuck there for an hour and a half waiting, not knowing if and when we would get back to our girls who were home alone . One officer said the road might be closed all night, but the next said to just be patient and they would have it open eventually. Girls were fine but sure happy to see us after 6 hours alone.
